So many incidents in life teach us the necessity of education, especially in villages, in poor economic circles still things go just the way they want.
I was having a conversation with the boy who sells me vegetables, he owns a nice amount of land near kolkata, wants to sell it, most probably to builders, had his land been fertile (which it might be) and he was trained enough he might have turned it into a vegetable farm and sold vegetables to residents of fringes, or if he can reach Garia, then here too, Kolkata people literally starve for vegetables that are not “out of cold storage”, I could not help him because I dont know much about that field, at the max I may check out if there are such farms or people who help such land owners in Kolkata fringes. But… on the other hand, if he had education, expertise he might have applied for a bankloan if money was short and tried the thing on his own.
These are the times when we feel so ****
Will check out the net but I really dont think that will be much help.
