Well now, when I look back at my teenage years to early thirties I feel a bit sad and a bit amused. How much my opinion about women, of-course Indian women have changed through the years.
Indian women love to broadcast that they are battered, all giving saints in flesh.
Ask the mother-in-laws who have been thrown out of their homes by their daughter in laws, taking the undue advantage of dowry laws.
Ask the bride whose right to have a happy conjugal life has been ruined by her mother in law, sister in law or anyone else of her husband’s family for dowry or any other equally insane reason.
Women are kindness, virtue, love in flesh.
Ask the prostitutes what they think of their brothel keepers- who almost inevitably are women.
You know any of these dumb myths?
