This post is dedicated to my darling, adorable friend Peter @berlioz1935.wordpress.com, he asked me for some pix of the town in which I live, so here are my balcony shots, more will come when I start sight-seeing in future πŸ˜‰

This one is of the metro trains, I don’t know what you call them there! I hope you can see the blue and white train above the building roofs. πŸ˜‰

  1. Sorry, I’m commenting only now. Thanks of thinking of me. It is true I’m a railway fan. I have worked on the local railway for 22 years. A Metro train is a local train, connecting suburbs of a large city. I saw an item on the news the other day that India wants to build a Magnet Train system. I hope they will use renewable energy for it.

    1. here metros run only within the metros, the ones that connect metros with suburbs are called local trains they often run a hundred or more kilometers. I don’t know how to check them, there were local trains that ran from Kolkata to Asansol, Rampurhat. took three to four hours to reach the other end (if they ran properly)

metros on the other hand are limited only within Kolkata, Delhi, I don’t know if Chennai, Mumbai and Bengaluru have theirs, Hyderabad does.

I LOVE TO READ AND RETURN COMMENTS. SOME OF MY READERS DONT LEAVE URL, IF THEY START LEAVING URL I WILL JUST LOVE TO READ THEIR WORKS TOO.
