Thursday Blog 4.6.15

I never paid it much attention, because I was too busy enjoying our own family puja, durgapuja, but there were two more durgapujas held on the one dusty road stretched by the side of Damodar river for a few kilometers, one at the bus stop where we came down from bus and started our 3 or 4 kilometer walk to our ancestral home, the other a little further from our home, towards the other end of that dirt road.

It was called the Mollapara puja, that means it was held in a muslim residential area, I wonder who held that puja, one thing is for sure that the muslim community most probably was fully involved in it.

There were too many Muslim boys and girls directly involved in Saraswatipuja of our college, Raj college.

No wonder west Bengal does not allows communal riots or disharmony!
