Melodies from moonlit nights
Those early morning meetings
when I used to wait alone
for you to show up in east
and fill me up with your light.
Waiting alone on the bridge
crystal clear river flowing below
thin veil of mist on the river
pearls of dews on leaves.
Birds singing gloriously
morning wind calm and heavenly
softly blowing soothingly
while I waited for you.
You showed up in the eastern sky
just like a vermillion dot
on the forehead of blue sky
to promise your love for the day.
Like a bride wears the symbol of her beloved’s on her forehead
sky wears you on her forehead every dusk and dawn.
Whenever you showed up in your crimson form
in dusk or dawn, you looked like a lover’s symbol of love.
