Chanakya was the mentor, guide and prime minister of Emperor Chandragupta Maurya. His words were very wise when it came to explaining human nature and ways of actual world.
Here is a story about him, from storybooks, no not of its authenticity though!
Once the mighty emperor of Magadh was sitting in his courtroom a young Brahmin came to see him. The king was a tyrant, and extremely arrogant too. He displayed no respects to the Brahmin and asked him what he wanted. The Brahmin expressed his desire but in place of giving him what he wanted or treating him with dignity the king and his courtiers mocked him, on his poverty and ugliness.
The Brahmin took an oath that he will bring down his dynasty. The arrogant emperor of course ignored him and threw him out of his court. Well, the Brahmin fulfilled his oath. He was Chanakya.
