I am:
Just a child of God
the same God you worship
one that laughs when happy
cries when sad
possesses a heart
that loves this little earth
tries to love every one
and every thing that it holds
sometimes fails
and sometimes shines bright.
You really want to know Sharmishtha Basu?
Well, Sharmishtha Basu is fifth child of Late Dr. Shibaprasad Basu, she is Bengali, Indian, she took birth in Tundla, Uttar Pradesh, lived in and around Uttar Pradesh for the first sixteen years of her life, then returned to Burdwan, West Bengal , her family has dwelled there for five hundred years or so and are still dwelling there, she lives in West Bengal till date after a brief stay in Hyderabad in 2015. At present she is living in her personal hellhole Kolkata. Hating it from heart! 🙂
She is unemployed, unmarried so with lot of time and excessive energy, some evil people made her dreams of having a normal career impossible but that did not diminished her energy, so she utilizes her time and energy mainly by painting and writing, hoping that her books will become her dream career, her salvation in her words, she is a blend of bhaktiyoga and karmayoga.
She loves her journey in this amazing world with all colours, her works are her way of sharing them, they come from her heart and experiences.
She is a very ordinary person who has learned a lot from wise people from all over the world as a result she lives a very happy, content life and wishes the same for everyone else too.
Who am I? just a child of God like you
Your very own, I too worship the same God
Only in some other form, and just like you
I too pray for food, shelter and clothe for all.
What do I love? In this beautiful world?
Let me think, the smile on a baby’s face
Flowers, gardens, sky, clouds and butterflies
Music, love, friends, any thing with beauty.
My religion? To love every harmless soul
Feel compassion for every living being
Never play God even when I am wronged
Never to hit back unless pushed in corner.
What do I hope? A permanent place in your heart
An entire life of friendship with you
We will fly together forever, in the blue skies
Full of love, peace and harmony everlasting

Hi Trisha – I am guessing these two new sites replace your original one? Either way, I have subscribed to both of your new ones! I have been away for a month but am back – hopefully should be reading and writing more going forward.
Have a great day xx

It was a pleasure meeting you in the blogosphere in 2012. 🙂
thanks a million times my priceless friend. God bless you!
This morning (here where I am) I re-discovered your works and after a few years of reading your works (4 to be exact) I now feel inspired to follow more closely as well as creating more words of my own. It’s funny how one thinks they walk alone in this world, only to find others who have walked the same path and can find a connection with those fellow travelers. I look forward to catching up on your works…and Thank You
you are most welcome!
